Systemic Curriculum Design

To ensure that students get the best possible education, Longman Schools Shanghai uses Pearson Longman materials and methodology. Our curriculum consists of 20 levels and uses Pearson Longman's tried-and-tested courses that are designed to develop and hone students' skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing.

Three tier approach to English Language Learning

Our philosophy is based in three distinct yet related componentss. The first is the Face-to-Face teaching which takes place in a classroom environment. Each classroom is equipment with an interactive Smart Whiteboard that enables our teachers to access a full range of teaching materials with a touch of their finger. The second component focuses on self learning, which allows the student to use numerous learning tools at home to move toward their goal. The third component of our learning system is the iLongman Club, an set ofoff campus activities which focus on English Language learning.

All courses are designed with the English Language learner in mind

Each course enables the English teacher to focus on the specific needs of the learners. All materials have been designed to capture the student's attention whether it be through an animated learning session or a traditional book presentation. The English teacher will guide the students through their lessons and enable them to attain their goal.
